the beginning of february..at least for me

ok let’s see, for me this year february begins on the 6th in the midst of another huge snowstorm. it’s a perfectly quiet day to catch up.
this month’s assignment is to go with the flow…if there is a thought that frames the day, i will try to respond to it in some way visually.
hopefully. but the idea here is still quick, don’t overthink it, move on exercises. (she repeats over and over to herself)
february thought 01 : faith. great. a pretty tough one to start off with, but this is the thought that has been framing my days of late. faith is about believing in things you cannot see. things that are not. so instead of showing you a blank page and asking you to believe me, i will show you why its been heavy on my mind. this left me with much to think about. it was worth the time it takes to travel to gilead. this is not a fast read. that isn’t the point.
oh i do love the page markers! i do the same thing. it always seems like a great thing to start off with, but then you end up sticky-ing half the book. i was saying to cameron that i need to figure out a better way of reminding myself about certain passages/parts. it’s especially important for the academic books. ha!
i know! isn’t it crazy though? by the time i am done with certain books I look insane, and i think to myself it would have been easier to just mark the parts i didn’t want to remember instead..
lol, maybe that’s the plan!
